Lost In The Supermarket
Most gyms don't care about you; they care about your membership fee. We call them 'supermarket' gyms. Their services are piled high and sold cheap. The 'shoppers' are all left to wander the aisles, bumping and queuing, with only some having any idea of where they're going and what they're buying.
Supermarket gyms are fantastic value for money – if you know how to write a progressive fitness program suitable for your goals; if you have the motivation to stick to it; and if nothing goes wrong and you don't need any help. But look at the number of people relentlessly trudging the treadmills or aimlessly picking up weights: how do you think it's working out for them? And what happens when you – almost inevitably – get injured? Does your gym have a system in place to treat you? Experts on hand to help you avoid the same injury in the future?
Do Things Differently
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. We choose do things differently. We know that we all need a little help. We like to find out exactly what you want to achieve and work with you to develop a plan that'll get you there. That may involve physiotherapy, massage, postural correction or injury rehabilitation to get you functioning properly again. Or it may involve a nutrition and exercise programme to help you lose excess fat. Or it might mean a strength and conditioning programme appropriate to your athletic goals. Most importantly, whatever you decide to do, we'll support you every step of the way.
